Fostul președinte al României, Ion Iliescu, se află internat de o săptămână în secția de terapie intensivă a Spitalului "Agrippa Ionescu" din București. Potrivit informațiilor oferite de unitatea medicală, starea lui Iliescu este stabilă, însă sănătatea sa rămâne una delicată.

Se pare că fostul lider a fost supus unei proceduri endobronice sub anestezie generală, menită să mențină căile respiratorii superioare deschise și funcționale. Potrivit medicilor, această intervenție este parte din tratamentul pentru afecțiunea sa, care se dovedește a fi de natură oncologică.
