Peter Mossfield has decided that boozing and taking steroids are the key to a ripped physique A man who believes he can train for a bodybuilding competition by taking steroids and knocking back 24 beers a day has revealed all the side effects he's experienced so far. Content creator Peter Mossfield, aka the guy who made his name by getting addicted to booze for the sole purpose of seeing if he was able to quit, is back with a new, bonkers experiment—training for a bodybuilding competition by doing anything but lifting. After giving up on his initial plan to combine boozing with exercise, Peter began boozing and steroiding his way to a ripped physique. Sharing the update on his Instagram account, BoozeBagFitness, Peter lists a laundry list of changes he's noticed in his body in a recent update, including issues with sleeping, peeing all the time, and a 'distinct' new body odour. Peter also revealed that he's actually passing blue urine, due to his consumption of methylene blue, and is no longer monitoring his blood pressure - instead opting for a 'Schrodinger's blood pressure' approach - and popping Cialis tablets for its impact on widening and relaxing the blood vessels. The tablets, which are typically used for maintaining an erection, are also having an impact on his genitals, which Peter alludes to as 'permanent enlargement'. When it comes to his body odour, Peter explained that his sweat now had a 'distinct smell' which 'wasn't what it used to be'. "I'd say it's better than before, but it's definitely a change," he said. Peter did note that he'd noticed continued growth of 'the thing on my side' but assumed this was a 'misplaced lat/oblique' due to the location of his ribs. "Overall, it's not too much to be concerned about." However, some of Peter's followers were understandably concerned by the update. "Blue? Growths on your side? Rip my dude," wrote one follower, while a second commented: "Schrodinger's blood pressure is INSANE." "You are going to die my dude stop this s**t," added a third. Anyone who is considering recreating Peter's unique routine may first want to read up on the potential side effects of taking steroids. A supplement which is either illegal or heavily restricted, depending on your location, steroids can cause issues such as liver damage, changes to your mental health, insomnia and spikes in blood pressure (hyperglycaemia). Meanwhile, knocking back 24 drinks a day isn't recommended, as it's likely that you'll be consuming your maximum recommended alcohol intake in just a day. Dr Kathryn Basford at Asda Online Doctor told LADbible: “Anabolic steroids are often used to build muscle and enhance performance, but they can be dangerous if used incorrectly or without medical advice. This is because regularly taking anabolic steroids can lead to both physical and psychological changes, as well as certain dangerous medical conditions. “For men,

side effects of anabolic steroids can include infertility, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, and increased risk of testicular cancer. For women, they can cause problems with periods, hair loss, and excess growth of facial and body hair. “Both men and women who misuse anabolic steroids are more at risk of developing serious medical conditions like heart attack or stroke, liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, deep vein thrombosis, and high cholesterol. Psychologically, misusing steroids can lead to aggressive behaviour, mood swings, paranoia, and even hallucinations. “It is generally recommended to avoid consuming alcohol while taking anabolic steroids as this can significantly increase the risk of serious health conditions like liver damage, hepatitis, fibrosis, or even liver failure.” “Repeated misuse of steroids and alcohol can lead to a number of harmful effects on the body, increasing the risk of cirrhosis, tumours, heart attack and stroke, and pancreatitis. This is because alcohol can significantly compound side effects of steroid misuse; both substances can damage the heart and liver, so combining heavy alcohol with steroids significantly increases these risks. If you have been prescribed steroid medication, it’s best to speak with your doctor first about whether you should drink any alcohol,” Dr Basford added. “While the use of anabolic steroids can increase muscle mass, the result is not the same as a trained physique from exercise and resistance training. Steroids can cause fluid retention, potentially making muscles appear bloated or soft. Muscle gained without training is usually unsustainable if the drug use is stopped. “Anabolic steroids can be addictive, and withdrawal symptoms often include depression or anxiety, insomnia, anorexia, headaches, fatigue, and muscle and joint pain. You should see a doctor if you feel you are addicted to steroids, and they will provide a treatment plan. “Anabolic steroids are prescription-only medicines, and can only be issued by a doctor or pharmacist. In the US, they are illegal to use or possess without a valid prescription, and it is also illegal to sell or share them.” However, Peter doesn't appear to be too concerned about potential health side effects, telling LADbible: "I feel great, honestly. I feel like I finally have the body and the physical presence to match who I actually am. "I’m on the way to greatness and not having time to listen to a word of negativity from anyone questioning me or hating on me as I get there." Brenna Cooper is a journalist at LADbible.
