Un cutremur a avut loc sâmbătă seara în regiunea Vrancea, cunoscută pentru activitatea sa seismică. La ora 20:12:46 (ora României), un seism cu magnitudinea de 3.4

pe scara Richter s-a produs la o adâncime de 144.6 kilometri. Informația a fost confirmată de Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Fizica Pământului (INCDFP). În prezent, nu sunt raportate pagube materiale sau victime în urma acestui cutremur.
